Back in my hundredth post, I mentioned there’d be a giveaway for a Steam copy of Dishonored. You guys have been reading, so I thought it was time to give back. First of all: thanks to everyone who has subscribed, whether you’ve been here for months or join this past week. It means a lot. I never really expected my small corner of the internet to attract an actual audience, but here we are. Every comment, like and share has been a nice surprise and I don’t any of it for granted. At least I don’t think I do… So consider this my way of saying cheers. If you’ve stuck around this long, you deserve a shot at winning something for it. Now, if you’re planning on unsubscribing after this: no hard feelings. I’ve got some more giveaways planned down the track, so maybe stick around and see what’s next. Or don’t, I’m not a cop.

Dishonored Dunwall Tower
Welcome to Dunwall.

Why Dishonored? Fair question. It released in 2012 and most gamers have at least heard of it, yet outside of a couple of mates I don’t really know anyone who’s played it. In real life, at least. That always struck me as odd for a game with this kind of reputation. Credit where credit is due, I probably wouldn’t have played it myself if a friend hadn’t recommended it to me a few times. Thanks BK. It sat in my backlog for years before I finally gave it a shot recently and was completely blown away. I ended up rating it a 9.5/10, so what better way to pay that recommendation forward than giving someone else the same opportunity I almost talked myself out of… again. Anyway, that’s the giveaway. The winner was drawn completely at random. Thanks to everyone for participating.

Huge congratulations to:

I, ah, assume these usernames are randomly generated, but I’ll be sending a Steam key your way via email shortly.
